I have been a new mom for over a year now, and I have discovered that being a mother, whether you are single or not, is rather tough, despite all of the joys we are privileged to experience. So, with this blog, I hope to create a virtual environment in which we, as mothers, can share our fears, joys, mishaps and what not - a place where we will not be judged or ridiculed, but a place of sharing and of respect. I have also found that as a new mom, there tends to be a sense of competition when we speak about our little ones, and being proud is normal by all means, but why make another mother feel bad if her son or daughter is simply progressing at his or her own rhythm? Mothers should be encouraging one another and helping each other - and this is what this blog will be about - plus, you'll hear all about my mistakes, joys and so forth that I have and continue to experience with my beautiful son.
I shall also be sharing some links of VERY important organizations that have helped my little man and I in our journey as mother and son - without these organizations and the people I have met through them, I would not have become the mother that I am today. If you are a new mother, or know of a new mom, please look at or share the links I will be adding to my blog because you or someone you know may need their help as well.
